Easter finish

Usually I get my holiday project done after the holiday.  For once I have something done a week in advance!  The Easter design to embroidery is free from Bird Brain Designs.  I finished it and sent it to my little sister.  I put it on a kitchen towel as you may be able to tell.




I also got my April block from Aurifil ready to do tonight as I watch tv.  It was Gail Pan's  month to design.  The fabric that I am useing is Late Bloomers by Sandi Gervais.



Just in case you are wondering, I am for right now,  putting my rowenta travel iron  to work.





And I am still working away on my 30's project.  All for now, talk to you later, martha

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit
