The Buzz

I finished the May block for the Aurifil Buzz BOM. 


I have never seen my husband cook. He does grill food once in a while.  Well yesterday I woke up to french toast which is my favorite. I think I will keep him.  He went fishing today as this past week end was the opening season.  Every body and thier brother was here.  Tonight is my quilt  guild meeting, the last one before our quilt show in June.


Remember this quilt?  Well I added the crows and stars that needed to go on borders and now just need to add four eye buttons and then to the quilters I will go.

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Binding Finish

  I finished sewing the binding and the label for my Tula Pink "Linework" quilt. So I thought I'd share some pictures.... I also have some of the backing where I put some extra blocks. I  have six more sashings finished.
