One of Those Days

Ever have one of those  days . Today was one of those days for me. Last night I did two loads of laundry ,  put them away. Stripped the beds and made them.  Finished a candle mat and took a picture to show you all.


Because I thought for sure that I worked all day today.  I got up extra early to read e-mail and get dressed for work before my husband got home. I was so proud of my self for being so organized. Ha!  Got to work , turned lights on and did prep work , boss comes in  and during our conversation I find out I did not work today!!!  I work tomorrow!!  To much of an eager beaver.

Well I came home and finished up the Quilt Retreat Laundry tote bag. by Erica Plank of  Unseen Hands.  It is done in Minnesota fabric for August's state shop hop.  It is done in a variagated cosmos embroidery thread.

Hope your day was a good one.  I guess they all are if your breathing.  Enjoy it all, Martha

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use.
