Quilt Show Inspired

After a quilt show or a craft show it seems we all get inspired and wish to sew up  a storm!  So the shop is always buzzing after.  Keeps us all busy and on our toes.

We also get uplifted and inspired. I have finished my buck block for this week .



Picked up my Sweet Caroline quilt from Mary Hammer. She dodged the bullet and did not take her pic this time! HA HA HA !  Decided to use a stripe fabric for the binding, got it cut and pressed and put on . Now I just need to hand  sew down the back.
 


Made another thread catcher for an upcoming swap deadline.


Can't show the actual swap pieces until I know swap partner has received them. So all for now, will chatter more later,Martha.

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit
