Finish Scrappy

I took a class on paper piecing awhile back and did not get the project done .  So now I am trying to finish it up. Pic of how the state of  eight  blocks are ...




I have one finished block to show you.
This pattern is a square  table topper.The pattern is called Patchwork Posies from the book "Runners Rock" by Gathering Friends.  I will keep plugging away at it. 


My sewing machine is long and heavy , so carrying it can be hard especially for long distances. So I have purchased a storage carrier with rollers. My Pfaff  just fit  but with no room to spare though !
This will help when I go to class tomorrow. Chatter a bit more later, Martha.

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit
