Natural Progression

I am progressing nicely with the hand applique  on my "Village square" by Kim Diehl. Here are pics before things were sewn done and just placed....









In  this last pic I have just begun to place berries.  I have 12 more berries to make and one whole side to sew done. But I am getting there. Plus there is one more round of borders. This quilt ends up to only be about 37" square when finished. So it is not that large. I will keep you up to date when I chat with you again!  I will be linking up to Kathy's Quilts .

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit

  I have finished the last four blocks and have played around with placement. Here are some pics to show with my progress.... See the sashing on the bottom row has been started! I have also been working on my handwork at night, with my Lucy Boston quilt. All for now,chatter more later, Martha.
