Sit and Chat

I am off to work this morning but I thought I would sit and chat awhile with you  before I left.  I finished the third section of my "Gypsy Wife"....

And then I finished the fourth section....

Got a shot of my toes, I think I need to go back and get a pedicure next week.  I then finished my fifth section....

And then I put them all together to get this....

I did not have a volunteer to hold up top so I drafted from my cupboards a few helpers!   I have just begun working on my sixth section which is the largest piece of all ten sections. In the meantime I am still working on this table topper at night....

In case some of you may not have heard yet the last season of Downton Abbey begins on September 20th!
Chit chat later, Martha.  I am linking up with kathysquilts.blogspot.com .

It looks great hanging on the rail! Love your table mat! So excited about Downton but can't believe they will be bringing it to an end!

Beautiful table topper and I love the Gypsy Wife. I want to make one someday but I thought the pattern rather expensive. I have to admit I have never seen even one episode of Downtown Abbey. I guess I don't watch much TV.

Your Gypsy Wife quilt is so colorful and happy.

The table topper looks like the perfect hand work project for Slow Sunday Stitching.

I'm a huge fan of Downton Abbey and so sad this will be their final season.
