3's Company By Thimbleberries

Image
My quilter gave back my twin size quilt " 3's Company" by Thimbleberries. It was my first and last Thimbleberries quilt. It has taken me about 10 years to finish it. But done is good! Got it all bound and pictures taken and ready to share. It heads out Saturday with a few other quilts for Brenda at Country Fabrics. She knows where the need is and distributes it where the most good will be done. She helps give grace for all of us quilters. We need a few more like her.  The other quilts are.... Be safe and be kind to one another, Martha.

Last of Cherrywood

Image
I am working on my fourth and last Cherrywood quilt, at least for a while. I am useing a pattern from quiltbasket called  "Eclectic".  Fast and fat quarter friendly. Just because I 'm useing my scraps and trying not to buy much of anything. I've laid it out on my floor to give you an idea of the plan. There is sashing and a couple of borders in the pattern yet. Here are my pics.... I'll check in later,be safe and be kind. Martha.

I got my "Umbrella" quilt back from Karl at Colorz Quilt shop. I hurried up to finish the binding ,so that I can get it in the mail. Took a few pictures just to share with you all. Hope you enjoy them! Sunny but not warm, today. Be kind. Chatter later, Martha.

Cherrywood Baby Flimsy Done!

Image
I have finished the top for the baby quilt of "Church Windows" pattern by Lo & Behold Stitchery. Showing a few pictures of my progression. Now I must sew up a backing! I plan to use the rest of the black fabric plus the leftover corner triangles. Looks more like a honeycomb than church windows to me. Chat with you later,Martha. Be kind and social distance with one another.

Baby Quilt

Image
I have started a baby quilt with Cherrywood fabric.  It is with my yellow scraps, no 4 step or 8 step bundle. I haven't gotten very far, only four rows so far and they are not sewn together yet. I thought I'd share a picture anyway. The pattern is  "Church Window" by Brittany Lloyd. Hope your staying still and being kind to one another, Martha.

Forgetful

Image
I forgot to take a picture of my quilt "Walk In The City" before I took it to the quilter's. So sorry! Will give you a picture when it comes back. However I have just finished a 50" square table topper flimsy and have that pic for you! The pattern is called "Leaded Glass" from Cherrywood, by Karla  Overland.  I added the border as I needed it to be a little larger .  It is 50" square. Made totally of Cherrywood hand dyes. Not an eight step, just what I had in my stash. Chatter later, be kind to one another. Martha. Remember in the Bible ,the one person who could throw stones didn't.

Coming Along

I have been working steadily on my Cherrywood quilt called "Walk In The City" by Elisa Wilson. I thought I'd give you  a peek at my work..... This is half of a quilt finished, only half as many to go! It will be a queen size quilt. Be Kind and be safe, Martha.
