On the Move

Image
From each fat quarter I am to make 3 five patch  blocks.  So that has been what I've been working on.... Today I am taking two donation quilts to the drop off point for Kids in Crisis. They are the Civil War Ladies quilt and the Tula Pink Maple Island quilts... All for now, chatter later, Martha.

Moving On

Image
I finished my Log Cabin Hexagon quilt and took it to a longarm quilter  to be quilted. I do have pics to back that up for you. This is the second quilt to be made from the leftovers from the "Coastal Lily" quilt. I have also finished another block from "Winter Wonderland" and sewn  what blocks that I have finished together! It was quite a windy day when I took those pictures!  I also got the binding put on and back stitched down on my "Civil War Ladies"  quilt. All for now, be safe and be kind, Martha.   I have been working on my Civil War Ladies and thought I'd share some pictures.... I have also decided to use another block with these and have started making them. The block  is called Domino . More will have to be made .  The fabric surrounding the ladies is called Dressing Gown , which is also by Judie Rothermel. I have more of Edyta Sitar's mini Winter Village ready to show you also.... I have gotten two quilts back from quilting and have them bound and ready for donation. Thought you might be able to see some of the quilting, too.  All or now be safe and be kind, Martha.
