Missouri Star

Image
I decided to do a Missouri Star pattern with my four charm square bunches of "Regency Blues". It is a quick pattern and I have done it before.  It will make a good crisis quilt.  I still have to sew rows together and am a few rows short yet. But you will get the general idea of the quilt. I will be shifting some of the rows around after I finish the last few rows. Be safe and be kind, chatter later, Martha.

A Little After Christmas Flurry

I  have been  doing a little catch up sewing and have now finished all five parts of Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt! How are you doing? I will give you peep at mine.... These are four pcs. that are all  the same. These are the 25 pcs. , but have four different aquas in them. I was trying to use up scraps.  Can hardly wait until given direction as to how to put together! Anticipaction mounting! These are five nine patch blocks for our drawing in February in our Simple Whatnots group. They just sweeten the pot! I also finished putting on the binding of a table runner from the Missouri Star's magazine "The Block "  #5. It uses one charm pack.  It uses the "Petal Pusher" charm pack. Will chatter with you later, Martha. I am linked up with Bonnie  Hunter's  Mystery Quilt    HERE  .

It  starts out as a ruler or template which comes in more than one size.     It is used with right 90* degree triangle papers (which also comes in more than one size co-ordinating with the rulers) It is very thin and tears away easily. Bonnie Hunter uses old phone books and cuts her own foundations.  And that is what this is a  foundation.  I am cutting my kite shapes from black scraps, not necessarily solid, but mainly reads black. I just randomly pick scraps from my bin. They do not have to be straight nor are they the same width or length. The black kite ...
