 Dealing with the half square triangles that are still leftover. I decided to make placemats for Meals on Wheels. Got 5 done so far!  Be safe and be kind, Martha. Linking up with  Quilt Infatuation

  I finished another Winter Wonderland embroidery block. I also finished the Flower Basket quilt with the leftover  half square triangles, 3 lilly blocks and leftover flying geese blocks. It is a good twin size quilt. I also had enough of grey grunge for the backing. As you can see from the pics that I also used leftover circles for my flower centers! I received my Coastal Lily quilt back from  my quilter. So now all I have to do is attach the flanged binding. All for now, be kind and be safe, chatter later, Martha. Finished another block of my embroidery quilt. I also got three rows put together with my extra half square triangles. I had three blocks  leftover from the "Coastal Lily" quilt. I have all the flower basket blocks finished. So it should go fairly fast.  Be safe and be kind. Chatter later, Martha.

  I have taken my "Coastal Lily" quilt to the quilter. It was queen size after two borders were added. I also made a flanged binding for when it returns. I've got some pics to share with you.... and the binding....   There were a lot of waste triangles from this quilt and they were saved. The triangles were 3" square and I  think I can get 36  blocks that are  8" square. I will still have some Half square triangles.  Here are the 11 blocks that I have so far....  I have a bag of circles left over also. I think I'll add those to the blocks also! I can't even imagine having this much leftover and disposing of it! We'll see what I can come up with. Be safe and be kind. Martha.
