Something New
I have started something new, with a little handwork involved. I finished my "Wooly Critters" and took it to quilter. I do not expect it back until August. Again with so much going on here (two big quilt shows and county fairs) lucky to get it then! Pic of partial done. I am in Moosebay Muses(a.k.a., Karen Martin's) Stitch Therapy group. We are doing Pam Curo's "Sophie's Garden" I have been following Karen's special tips and got myself a notebook with sleeves as to store directions and block pieces. I have finished my log cabin blocks,my sawtooth star blocks and my spool blocks. I have also finished my 52 half square triangles. I have one block with applique on it started. It has both wool and cotton velvet on it. Have not decided whether or not I like the cotton velvet or not. I may end up taking it off. I like the feel , not so much the look..... There will be more chatter on this later, marth...
