Daughter Lurking

Image
Even though my daughter may be lurking and reading this blog, I am going to share this knapsack/purse that I just finished making for her. front with zippered pocket and white ultrasuede pull back of purse It matches a larger tote that I made her, both Tula dots. I have more pics showing inside pocket and lining. inside lining pocket with elastic pinned before sewing together Looks grey in this pic, but actually black! So I will be putting this in the mail to her Tuesday! Be safe and be kind , Martha.

Progress

Image
I have finished the last of the blocks for my "Winter Wonderland" by Crabapple Hill. And have put it all together to show you.  Without someone to hold quilt it is hard to get a good shot of it. When it comes back from quilter, perhaps then I can get a better shot for you. Chatter later, Martha.

Nightly Sewing

Image
I have been finished with my embroidery blocks for a while now , so I have picked up an older project to finish up. My Lucy Boston has been in the closet for some time. I have finished two more blocks in my night time sewing. Work is progressing on my pieced  blocks  for "Winter Wonderland" quilt. The nice weather makes everything brighter even our spirits! Chatter later, Martha.

Winter Wonderland Embroidery

Image
I have finished the embroidery for this quilt and have put together the center portion of the quilt. Now to piece the surrounding blocks!   I'm enjoying my day, how about you? Enjoy your weekend, Martha.

Two Blocks and a Finish

Image
I finished stitching the last two embroidery blocks on the "Winter Wonderland " quilt. Now I get to make some piecemaking blocks! I also finished "Amelia's Quilt" by Darlene Zimmerman. I took it outside for some pictures, as it was a nice day. All pressed and starched. I found the red fabric bleed in some spots from the spray starch. So after I get it back from the quilter's, I will wash it with a color catcher. Be safe be kind and get vaccinated! Martha

A Little Further

Image
I have all the five patch blocks finished!    I have just started making the other joining block for this quilt. I have 5 of 30 done. I'll give you a little preview of how it goes together. I'll keep working and have more to show you later, Martha.
