Deb Tucker

I got my red and cream Rapid Fire Hunter's Star quilt  back from my quilter yesterday. I got it bound last night during tv time.  I hung it up in the hallway just before brownie making began. It might pass for something for Valentine's day too! Be safe and be kind to one another. Chatter later, Martha.

Starting Something New!

I got my "Five   Inch Is A Cinch"  quilt back from the quilter's, so some binding is being done in the evening.   Of course a label was put on also. I'll give you a better pic once I'm finished. I had a small fat eighth bundle of a fabric line called "Cinderberry" . It has reds and creams in it.  I mixed in some odd at quarters from my fabric stash. I decided to try Deb Tucker's Rapid Fire Lemoyne star ruler . I think I've had it for about 7 years and not opened the package. I am making the small wall hanging pattern that comes with it. So far I've made 7 - 4" blocks , 1 -5" block , and 1- 3" block. I am enjoying the process so far.  Chatter later, be kind and be safe, Martha.

Frivol #4

Image
I have started a new project and it is Frivol #4. There are four blocks that make up this small 50" x 50" quilt.  It came in this pretty tin. It is called Lakeland which is very appropriate for Minnesota don't you think? It has flying geese surrounding one background square. So to make my 154 flying geese I am using my Deb Tucker ruler and making four at a time. Which makes this task a little smoother .   These are the beginnings of my four blocks. What are you working on? Something to brighten up your winter days? Martha
