sew what's new?

I am back to sewing a new block, this makes block #3, on my quilt named "Sassy" by Quilting On the Curve. I have also been doing a little play with my embroidery. This is from an applique on a Kim Diehl quilt from her collection #2. I used  colored pencil , to color in the figures. and then heat set it. I am linking up to  Pink Doxies  . I thought I would share how I finished my Sophie's Garden with you. I added a border and a wool applique kitty. I thought it looked like the kitty was looking out a doorway to her garden! Just my impressions.... Chatter with you later, Martha.
