The forgotten one

I finished the last redwork block in Alice in Wonderland quilt.


I was then able to put my rows together and finish the top.



I also found some pics on the internet that I wanted to use on the back. I printed them onto fabric from my inkjet printer and then I pieced them into the backing.








I was able to take the quilt to the quilter's today.  Which made me happy. I was also able to finish my Raspberry Rabbits Block for May.


Hopefully I will be able to get a couple of more things caught up this weekend.  I ordered Kim Diehl's new book which is out. Can hardly wait I really like her stuff.

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit
