Busy , Busy!



Got this one quilted by a friend who did it in double time. She was fast! Was able to get it mailed off to my sister, she is the Wizard of OZ fan. Got some pics of the quilting, the pattern she used was called Dandelion. Hope you can see it in the minkee....




I put a stain on my quilt  ladder called rosewood. I sanded in between each coat of polyurethane. Then waited for it to dry. Mr. Sew What  carried it in and helped me place it. Then I filled it up.




I also have another block prepared and ready to stitch....


Tomorrow I'll be traveling to Duluth for the Minnesota Quilt Show. I will try to remember my camera and take a few pictures. Chit chat with you later, Martha.

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit
