More Progression and a Finish!

I have  a few pics of rows being added and a top finish!

                         This is all four blocks sewn together
        This is with another row of geese sewn on all four sides.

                 This is a 3 inch background border all around.

 Today I also cut out two small flannel projects for my son-in-law. But I will show you those when I get a little bit of sewing done on them.  As for this 50 1/2" square flimsy I think I will use both hand quilting and machine quilting. That's for another day. My husband is helping out with the dog sled races in Remer today. Today is my do whatever I want day! Bye for now, Martha.

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit
