LOOSE ENDS

I HAVE BEEN TYING UP SOME LOOSE ENDS IN MY SEWING ROOM. IT HAS KEPT ME BUSY YESTERDAY AND TODAY.  I HAVE MADE SOME MORE RAIL SASHINGS AND SOME MORE CORNERSTONE  9 PATCH BLOCKS FOR MY BARBARA BRACKMAN CIVIL WAR QUILT BLOCK OF THE WEEK.



THEN I HAVE BOUND MY HALLOWEEN QUILT AND PUT A SLEEVE ON THE BACK.


IT WAS QUILTED IN THE WHITE SQUARE WITH A SMALL CLOSE MEANDER AND THEN A LARGER MEANDER WITH BLACK OUTSIDE OF THE WHITE SQUARE.
HOPEFULLY YOU CAN SEE IT IN THIS CLOSE UP.



THEN MY BOW TIE QUILT WAS BOUND WITH A STRIPE FABRIC CUT ON THE BIAS AND HAS A FEATHER QUILTING PATTERN ON IT.





I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY SEWING ROOM IN ORDER BEFORE THE NEW YEAR BEGINS.  WISH ME LUCK ON THAT!  SEW INTO THE NIGHT  !! MARTHA

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use.
