SEVEN DOWN AND TWO TO GO!

I HAVE FINISHED BLOCK  # 7 AND WILL PROBABLY START BLOCK # 8 TOMORROW.


NEXT I NEED TO TELL YOU ABOUT ANOTHER OF ANNE SUTTON'S DESIGNS. 
AT   http://bunnyhillblog.com  , SHE HAS A TUTORIAL ON MAKING DRESDEN PLATES.  ALSO EACH MONTH FOR THE NEXT SIX MONTHS SHE WILL BE DOING SOMETHING WITH DRESDEN PLATES.  SHE HAS STARTED A SCRAPPY PLATE CLUB.  WHY DON'T YOU JOIN HER TOO AND GET RID OF SOME OF THAT STASH.


 I FIRST STARTED BY MAKING ONE TO SEE WHAT IT MIGHT LOOK LIKE. I THEN PROGRESSED AND BEFORE I KNEW IT I HAD THREE DONE!!!



I KEEP MEAT TRAYS AND WASH THEM WELL AND USE THEM AS TRAYS TO KEEP ME PIECES IN SO THAT I DON'T LOSE THEM.  IT KEEPS ME A LITTLE MORE ORGANIZED.

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use.
