Preview Of Things To Come

I have a short preview of some things to come....


I have been making placemats with roosters on them.


My first block of "Gypsy Wife" by Jen Kingwell, Country Threads is also doing a sew a long on this.






This is my Wooly Critters quilt by Brandywine Designs back from the quilters. I still have to bind it. I did not have anyone around to help hold up the quilt for me to take a pic, so after it is bound I will take another pic for you. Chatter more later, Minnesota shop hop starts next week, might get a little busy!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. There were so many quilts at Santa Clara , and I did not even get to see them all. Heaven! Made with Kaffe Fasset. These were raffle quilts! This was covered in crystals!                                             I will show some more tomorrow, Martha.
