Not Much Going On

I guess it is so close to Quilt Show (June 21& 22) at the Crow Wing County fairgrounds, that I just felt I should concentrate more on charity sewing. So I had some leftover fabric from my granddaughter's table runner that I thought would make nice placemats also.  





So I just finished last night sewing down the binding on these five.  I also have begun walking in the mornings with a neighbor. I have really enjoyed getting to know her. On Tuesdays in June and part of July ,  I am participating in a Bible study. Our first week was last week, and I have my homework done! Just a shout out to my little sister, Renee ...... Happy Birthday!! All for now, Martha.

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit
