End of Year

 Made a few more masks and got them sent off yesterday.




I started a 16 patch quilt from my Tula Pink "Handmade Line". I have got 30 blocks finished, but I need 56.  I think that should get me the size I want. Eight rows of seven, with 8 1/2" blocks.  I am planning on just a few strip pieces leftover.




My daughter wants a travel bag too, but for her birthday, at the end of January. I will be heading to the quilt shop later this week for the fabric. She let me know black and white fabric is her choice.  I have less than 30 days ,so I better get hopping.

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. Ryokan Second Visit
