Natural Progression

 My Aurifil spool quilt top with Tula Pink's Handmade fabric line is finally finished! I took several pictures along the way and want to share them with you....

The backing I chose was a digital print at 108" wide.



There is no formal  pattern as I drew it up on my graph paper. I really like it and might do it again using  a different line of fabric. I'll be taking this to the quilter's tomorrow.  Be safe and be kind, chatter later, Martha.

Onward!

  I have been doing some more sewing of flying geese, the past couple of days.  I have made some progress as I have about twenty sashings total sewn now.  Here are pics of what I have finished so far. I also got back another lap quilt from the quilter and I have sewn down the binding on the front side. In the evenings I am enjoying hand sewing the back side.   I also purchased some Applipops  , which were a bit on the expensive side($35) and decided to try them for all the circles in this quilt. They are not worth the price in my opinion.  To each his own. I prefer my mylar circle washers, There are many more sizes and easier to use. There were so many quilts at Santa Clara , and I did not even get to see them all. Heaven! Made with Kaffe Fasset. These were raffle quilts! This was covered in crystals!                                             I will show some more tomorrow, Martha.
