Pineapples!

Yes I have started a new project and it's Pineapples! I've made twenty blocks using a ruler by Doug Leko by Creative Grid. It is also good for making square in a square blocks also. I wanted to make these blocks for awhile now, but did not want to do paper piecing. So I thought I'd  try the ruler first and then try Bonnie Hunter's mock pineapple block using 2 1/2 " strips for another quilt and see which one I like best.  When I figure that out I'll then make a blue and cream one for myself. So without further adieu some pics......

Now I will add two borders and then a piano key border to hopefully make it lap size. Chatter later, Martha.
